About Me
Meet Dr. Megan
Landwerlen
You can call me Dr. Meg!
Dr. Megan Moenning Landwerlen is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience caring for children and families on the north side of Indianapolis, including Hamilton County communities such as Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, and Zionsville. She also welcomes families from across the greater central Indiana area who are seeking personalized, relationship-based pediatric care.
Dr. Meg is conventionally trained and highly educated. She earned her B.A. in Biology from Northwestern University, followed by both her Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Arizona. She completed her pediatric residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Hospital for Children before returning to central Indiana to practice.
After nearly two decades in a traditional pediatric setting, Dr. Meg chose to open her own independent, physician-led pediatric practice. She now provides personalized, in-home pediatric care, allowing families to receive unrushed, thoughtful medical care in the comfort of their own homes. Practicing outside the constraints of insurance allows her to spend meaningful time with families and build strong, trusted relationships with parents.
Dr. Meg practices comprehensive, evidence-based pediatric medicine, including newborn care, well-child visits, developmental monitoring, acute and chronic illness management, and guidance on nutrition, sleep, behavior, and overall wellness. She values preventive care and early intervention while recognizing that every child and every family is unique.
Vaccines are one part of pediatric care. Dr. Meg is experienced in standard vaccination practices and follows established pediatric care standards. She does not oppose vaccines; rather, she emphasizes informed consent, open communication, and individualized decision-making. Her goal is to ensure families have clear, balanced information regarding the benefits, potential risks, scheduling options, and cumulative volume of vaccines recommended by regulatory agencies, so parents can make confident decisions that align with their values and their child’s specific needs.
Dr. Meg lives in Fishers with her husband Jason, a veterinarian, their two children, and their golden retriever, Miss Money Penny. Outside of medicine, she enjoys time outdoors, old movies, church community, and being with her family. She gives all glory to Jesus Christ, whom she credits for her calling, abilities, and opportunity to serve others.
